Friday Featured Artist: Myeongbeom Kim

This Friday's Art is Myeongbeom Kim.  A native of South Korea, he studied environmental sculpture at the University of Seoul and in 2008 received he MFA from The Art Institute of Chicago.  I find his sculptures whimsical but also thought-provoking.  His sculptures question our relationship with nature.  He uses our consumer objects and points out their natural counterparts in many of his works. I've posted only a few of my favorites.  Go to his website for more!
